Titanium Music Video
David Guetta - Titanium
For the analyzing of the Titanium music video by David Guetta we have conducted a focus group where we have discussed details of the video. We have talked about a number of topics including camera shots, metaphorical messages and locations, etc. We have conducted a focus group instead of writing it all out in order to get inspired by what our mates say and if that will change our mind. Each of tried to give a different perspective on the music video and we tried to look for metaphors that one of us might not have noticed.
In the focus group we have played the music video meanwhile we talked about what we have noticed. This allowed us to see what we thought of each others opinion, and we could expand on the points we said. With this we have gained a wider understanding of the music video and what it actually represents.
Some points that we have said in the music video we had to say quickly and we didn't have enough time to expand on it as it was going too quickly. This meant that we couldn`t say everything we wanted to.
In the video we were very focused on trying to get the metaphors behind the shots and how some scenes and parts in the video might have a double meaning, which is also reflected in the lyrics of the song.
The video that we have made, we uploaded to YouTube on a new account that we have created for our media course.
